At Long Last

Well, Ethan and I were able to get everything moved from our apartment to our house between Friday the 28th and Sunday the 30th. Between some time on that weekend, and this Monday, we didn't have Internet at home. We also didn't have a bathroom for three days. Our bathroom still doesn't really have a door, but having a toilet is a big improvement over not.

We got the dumpster on Monday (after three delays) and so we finally cleaned out one of our 'rubble rooms' this week. That allowed us to move some stuff around a bit more, and now we can use most of the downstairs of our house, and all of the upstairs!

On the 5th, we got our puppy, Ludo!! He's a very sweet, cuddly puppy and I will have to post pictures of him soon. Ethan and I have been very busy though, so I haven't had a chance to do much other than work or sleep lately.

I should have more updates (and hopefully pictures soon!

Hey -- congrats on the house! Good luck with your projects. I didn't know you were getting a puppy - how fun! Big dog or small dog? And how are your cats tolerating him?

Ludo will be a big dog. He's an Old English Sheepdog, and he should get to a healthy weight of 70 - 100 lbs! His dad was very big, and his mom was on the small side, so we'll just wait and see where he ends up. Right now he's about 10 weeks old and weighs 20 - 25 lb.

The cats aren't thrilled with him, so say the least, but they've already gotten a lot more used to him. After Peeve gave him a good whack on the nose, he decided that chasing the cats into a corner and nosing them was a bad idea. Now he just stands at a safe distance and attempts to make friends while they hiss and growl. I have no doubt they'll come around though.
